Our stay was really enjoyable as we set out to explore the local wineries. The breakfasts were a highlight, featuring fresh, local ingredients that made each morning special. We also loved the chance to unwind on the deck with stunning views of Seneca Lake, especially during sunset. Our room was cozy and decorated with charm, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing.

A hidden gem! The owners are incredibly warm and provide exceptional service. Our room was beautifully furnished with views of Seneca Lake, and the breakfasts were simply divine, offering local flavors that catered to everyone's taste, even vegan options. The deck was perfect for sunset sipping. Can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved the breakfasts at The Fox and the Grapes, especially as a vegan! The hosts really went all out, whipping up a meal that matched the traditional spread and even providing tasty vegan cookies. Plus, the deck overlooking Seneca Lake made for perfect evenings with a glass of wine. Also, shoutout to the resident pets that added a homey vibe!

The only hiccup was the steep steps to our room. just a little workout to start our day!

the steep steps to my room were absolutely ridiculous, not at all what I expected from a place claiming to be a bed & breakfast. to make matters worse, the well water smelled like sulfur. I almost considered leaving a positive review, but the lack of complimentary wine upon arrival was the final straw.

The atmosphere was welcoming, yet some common areas felt a bit crowded due to full bookings during our stay.

The room was a bit snug, perfect for cozy cuddles but not for performing cartwheels! Also, the well water had a charming sulfur surprise. talk about an unexpected aroma!

Would recommend for a swift stopover

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, with free wi-fi making it easy to plan my day while exploring the nearby wineries.

Comfortable King room with ample closet space, great views of Seneca Lake. Plenty of indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy wine, perfect for relaxation.

The only downside was the well water. It had a noticeable sulfur smell, which was a bit off-putting during our stay.

we had an amazing stay at fox and the grapes bed & breakfast! our hosts, wendy and russ, treated us like family, and their breakfast creations were the highlight of our mornings. the property was beautiful, with a breathtaking view of seneca lake that made it perfect for kids to play safely.
